PRESENTATION

       
 

The research group in LABOUR LAW & SOCIAL SECURITY (greDTiSS), is composed by a group of teachers and researchers of the Labour and Social Security Law Area of the University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, who coordinated by Ph Dr. Julia López López carry out for many years a common task of research and teaching subjects related to Social Law.

   Like wise, the "Macrocaso" method used at practical classes, composed by many related cases to be resolved by the students, in order to give them a global  vision and a deeper knowleyde, is being informatitzated for the purpose of being incledud in the "Campus Global" project of University Pompeu Fabra.  
     
 

In this way, they have participated in many projects  and legal studies subsidized by public institutions, working alone or with researchers from others spanish Universities, as members of multidiciplinary research groups.

   The educational work also includes the celebration of regular conferences where specialists in Spanish, European and Northamerican Social Law explain present topics.  
     
 

In the other hand, seminars courses are celebrated every week, in order to exchange the diferent punts of view achieved in theorical and practical classes, and where educational materials are coordinated and debated , being adapted to the new technology instruments.

  The principal goal of this website is to offer information regarding the activities and tasks of greDTiSS, updating its contents periodically.
