Nota biogràfica:
Jorge Rodríguez és doctor en Sociologia per la Universitat Norteamericana de Nortwestern. Actualment és Investigador Ramón y Cajal en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra on també exerceix com a Coordinador de la Especialitat de Socio-Demografia del Màster de Ciències Polítiques i Socials.
Anteriorment va exercir com a Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Methods en la University of Kent i com a Lecturer in Sociology a la University of Reading, les dues a Gran Bretanya, y com a Visiting Assistant Professor a la University of Illinois at Chicago, a EEUU.
Actualment participa en els següents projectes d'investigació:
• Stratified family dynamics: polarizing trends in couple behaviour and parenting. European Research Council. 2011- 2014
• Análisis de múltiples equlibrios en la familia. CSO2010-19062. Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (MICINN) 2011-2013
• Género y marginación: victimizacion y delincuencia, financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, Plan Nacional de I + D (DER2009-08344)
