Nota biogràfica:
I am a visiting professor at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, Universitat Pomepu Fabra. Previously, I have been working as post-doc research fellow at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy).
I obtained a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Florence (Italy) in 2008 with a thesis titled "Causal inference for observational studies extended to a multilevel setting. The impact of fertility on poverty in Vietnam". The thesis was awarded by the Italian Statistical Society the price as the best thesis in Applied Statistics 2007/2008.

I am an applied statistician and most of the research problems I deal with have their origin in real data problems in the social sciences.
My methodological interests include: Causal inference for observational studies and, in particular, for multilevel structured populations; Multilevel models; Partial identification.
From a substantive point of view, I am particularly interested in the study of:
Intergenerational relationships; Transition to adulthood; Immigrants assimilation;
Health.
