Presentation

The politics section is made up of full-time lecturers, part-time associate lecturers, assistants, scholarship holders and research collaborators. It has numerous research projects financed by public and private institutions on subjects of a state, European and international scope.

Five basic subject matters are pursued: Political Theory, Political Behaviour, Public management and administration, Public Policy, and Research methodology and techniques. The department is linked to the main state and international research centres, and with principal political science institutions such as the American Political Science Association (APSA), the International Political Science Association (IPSA), the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), and the Asociación Española de Ciencia Política y de la Administración (AECPA) - the Spanish Association of Political Science - among others.
