The Department of Political and Social Sciences and the Public Policy Center (The John Hopkins Universtiy) aims to support a candidate application for a predoctoral fellowship of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO)
This fellowship forms part of the project called " Mapping the influence on the policy process in the European Union: Resources and capacities of the political actors in the European Union", directed by Javier Arregui (Jean Monet Chair on EU Governance)
The beneficiary has to apply for admission to a PhD program for the academic year 2016/2017. This fellowship has duration of four years.

On April, 15 th, the Chair Jean Monnet on EU Governance by Prof. Javier Arregui Moreno and the JHU-UPF Public Policy Center are going to organize a debate between Gabriel Siles-Brügge (Lecturer in Politics at the University of Manchester, UK, and co-author of the "TTIP: The Truth about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership") and Fernando Perreau de Pinnick (Head of Unit Intellectual Property and Public Procurement . DG Trade of the European Commission).
The event is going to be held in the auditorium of the Ciutadella Campus at Pompeu Fabra University, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The Department of Political and Social Sciences is currently offering two scholarships for the Master students. The students that is given this scholarship will have to carry out research tasks in relation to the Jean Monnet Chair (Professor Javier Arregui) during the 3rd term. The salary is 1.000€ (gross).
Deadline: the motivation letter must be sent from 24th February to 4th March 2016.
