Criteria for admission to the Programme

In addition to the general criteria for admission to a PhD programme set forth in article 3 of Royal Decree 56/2005, dated 21 January, the programme has the following admission criteria:

1) Acceptance by one of the laboratories of the centres participating in the programme. This will consist of a letter signed by a Main Researcher accepting to be the PhD supervisor or director for the PhD student, offering the facilities needed to carry out the PhD project.

2) Development of the dissertation project in the context of a financed project. The name of the project in which the new student is engaged will be included in the supervisor’s letter of acceptance.

3) Proof of the PhD student's financial capabilities in the form of a salary, fellowship or research agreement. This will prove that the student will be devoted to the PhD on a full-time basis.
