Its aims are the development of Operational Research as a unified science and its advancement in all nations of the world.
IML: Institut international de management pour la logistique International Institute for the Management of Logistics. The interests of several industrialists, and the absence of an institution offering higher educational activities in the field of logistics at the European level, resulted in the creation of IML. The Council seeks to provide the widest possible dissemination of the SCOR-model (Supply-Chain Operations Reference-model).
