 Statistical theory & method abstracts (STMA-Z) Bibliographical database, is an important source of references to statistics. STMA-Z is available as a component of Zentralblatt Math, which provides the articles (abstracts) published in 3.000 serials since 1931 until now.

| New free acces to the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya Database |
The Parliament of Catalonia has approved the 2/2007, 5th of June, Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya Law which stipulates that the DOGC electronic version shall become the official, original version, and as of the 31th of December the print version will no longer be published. And, also, to guarantee its access for all citizens, the DOGC Database as from this month June on shall be provided free of charge.

| New UPF collection at RECERCAT |
|
 New UPF collection have been added in Recercat (a cooperative repository of digital documents and it include the research literature from universities and researching centers of Catalonia, like preprints, comunications in congress, research reports, working papers, university final projects, technical reports, etc.).
- Treballs d'Economia Aplicada II
The main objective of RECERCAT is to increase the visibility of research carried out in Catalonia and to contribute to the world movement for a free archive of academic output and research on the Internet, organized by the institutions that finance research.

| Changes in the Library hours at Summer |
 We remind you that, due to Summer period, from 18th of June until 21nd of September, there are changes concerning the Library hours:
- Main Library, Rambla Library and França Library: users services attended by Library staff finishes at 20.00 h. Opening and closing times are the usual ones.
- Mar Library: closing time at 20.00 h. From 2nd of July until 14th of August it will rest close. |
