| PubMed: My NCBI replaces Cubby |
|
The National Library of Medicine has deactivated the service PubMed Cubby and activated the new service My NCBI. This new one has extended widely the services offered by Cubby with filters and possibility of sending by e-mail the update of the registered PubMed searches. Users having a Cubby account can use the new service using the same username and password.

Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature where you will find journal articles, theses, books, preprints, technical reports, etc. from academic editors, professional societies and universities.
However, one has to consider that if there is a link to a service that asks for username and password, if the UPF Library hasn't subscribed it, the documents won't be available.

TDX (formerly TDC@t) is a database that includes digital online theses submitted in any of the universities of Catalonia and other autonomous communities (Balearic Islands and Valencian Community). It allows searching by author, title, subject, university, etc. and offers the theses' full text.
Now there are two more theses submitted at the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences:
